Well I’ll be blogged
Have you ever found yourself meandering around (average) style blogs? Wondering where the all goods are? I was stuck back in my fresher years, so when a friend passed on a few sites, it all started. I would (and still do) loose hours gazing at the beautiful outfits pieced together so diligently.
So now I think it’s time I share some of the list that I’ve been building up over the past few years. Hopefully there are some new finds and definitely should be some old favourites. If they’re not, get reading/looking already!
This would be my all round favourite. It is a hilarious take on interesting, very well put together style. Not to everyones taste, I couldn’t/would’t wear everything Leandra Medine does (but then again she lives in NYC, she’s conservative in that cities fashion stakes). But but BUT! 9/10th of everything else is fabulous. Fahhhhhbulous dahling. – Also some interesting articles to be found.

Probably the first site I religiously followed, and still a favourite for stunning portraits and quirky fashion.
I assume and hope the majority of you have heard of this site, if not scoot on over and dive right in.
The Satorialist pronounced ‘sat-or-alist’ (pretty sure I was saying it wrong for a good year there) is primarily a street style blog, Scott Schuman (the founder, but I doubt not the only one now) is also invited to photograph front row at all the main fashion weeks. Men and women, young and old.
As you would figure, this is mainly a news site for fashion, but there is so much more to it. Now obviously they go to all the great shows, shoot street style and go to all the right events. However, nytimesfashion is also host to one of the most infamous street photographers around; Bill Cunningham. There was an exquisite documentary made about him. Watch it, it’s worth every minute, and it will make you appreciate your bed 100x more. For bite sized style pieces, their instagram showcases all of the above sections (all the pretty pictures and no words 😉 )
Margaret Zang & Shine by Three
You know when there’s those people that are everything you want to be. Well this lady goes up and above the average Clueless levels of I WANT TO BE HER & have her jeep (& Paul Rand). This gal shoots lots of her own stuff, travels everywhere and nowhere you can imagine, studies super smart stuff (like more than the pages of Vogue like) AND has the most amazing wardrobe ever – that I’m sure is gifted to her by the brands – but she styles everything so well that I don’t mind. Zhang is tailored, patterned and colourful – my perfect combination. Follow her here.
Nicole Warne & Gary Pepper Girl
One of the most famous Australian bloggers, Garypeppergirl is notorious at all the fashion events in Aus and beyond. Nicole Warne is now a brand ambassador, and model for the likes of LV, D&G, and Lancome to name a few. Warne started as a blogger/online fashion store and in no time at all has smashed it into the major leagues. Her style is classic, refined, with a little bit of tom-boy chic. She has a fantastic instagram – do yourself a favour and follow her – now. (Almost as good as Margaret Zhang… almost).
Goddamn they’re cool.
Stylist & chic maiden. Great travel pics, quirky fashion and beautiful editorials.
If I don’t stop now I never will….
